I am near retirement age and working a temp position. I have arleady gone through what little pension I had. Unemployment will pay rent onl

Bush can't leave soon enough. We need a new outlook, new hope, new people running things. Confience is at an all time low

    I'm in IT - I forsee a slowdown in Internet Marketing, but a relatively steady demand for better business data/information tools.

    I'm a contract professional, so I'm always in danger of my current contract ending. I'm probably a little more worried than usual now.

    1 in 3 lost work in my organization last month. I "survived" but the future looks grim as we all sit at our desks with no work.

    I am almost finished grad school and worry about finding a job. Human services is a tough field anytime, it is worse in a recession.

    After 40 years in the workforce, I'm about to lose everything. Worked hard, lived clean and was frugal, all for naught.

      Fortunately I work for someone who could weather the loss of up to 50% of his clients (which won't happen), and I'd still have my job.

      I'm retired and on Soc Security and a defined benefit pension, so feel safe but am very concerned for others and my son.

      I'm a contractor in software. I'm good for the rest of the contract, I think, but after that... Contracts could be scarce.

        i work in foodservice sales. lots of my customers are closing or alot slower. It is scary. I expect my dept. tobe cut if things dont improv

        Laid off in July from previous job. Got this one in August (same field). Manuf. sector still slowing in orders. Probably a few months left.
