Al Gore. Very smart, respected around the world. A class act. We need him center stage to rebuild the track record of the USA
Colin Powell! He's experienced and excellent and not a hawk, in spite of what happened to him during the first W. Bush term.
You cant leave Bill Richardson off of this list.. He has a great deal of contacts and has earned respect from various world leaders.
Madeline Allbright!!
He will satisfy the bipartisan promise and not put his foot in his mouth like Kerry.
I would like to see Richard Holbrooke who I believe has been a career diplomat in many administrations. I am a proud Obama supporter.
Bill Richardson would be ideal for this position. I'm surprised he wasn't included in the poll.
Bill Richardson
Hillary Clinton!
I think Bill Richardson would be an excellent choice.
bill richardson
I think it should be Gen. Powell.
BILL CLINTON - ELIQUENT SPEAKER & LOVED THROUGH MUCH OF THE WORLD & SMART! I FEEL THIS IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT POSITION TO BE FILLED!
Hagel, Kerry, or Nunn would be excellent choices. But I think it will be Kerry.
I think he will pick someone who has held that post in the past, including a Republican who has backed Obama.
Hilary Clinton
I'm thinking Bill Richardson or Hillary....I don't think it will be any of these, maybe John Kerry, but I doubt it!
Al Gore would be great, so would Colin Powell
The man who was really elected President in 2000, Al Gore. He is so intelligent and accomplished.
Bill Richardson.
Needs to show his bi-partisan side
Richardson
Not a Senator! One Senator is President-elect and another is VP (and a Congressman as Chief of Staff). How about Gov. Kaine or Richardson?
What about Richards???? He has excellent diplomatic skills and a proven track record.
No Kerry... No Kerry...
