Barack Obama

Even though his taxes would be higher, his customers would have more money to spend thus raising his gross income.

Americans should want us all to live good and be prosperous! Not just Joe the plumber. What about Mary the teacher, or Susan the single mom

Because if he's a real man, he'll want his son to inherit a better country and because if he makes over 250,000, he's got no complaints.

Since "Joe" isn't really a plumber I'll assume he's an average American. In that case he'll have a better chance under Barack's leadership.

Joe or Jane the plumber would fare far better under a president that is in touch with the country, hence Barack Obama.

People can't hire a plumber for their house if it's been foreclosed on. Consumers with more money = more business.

I don't know too many plumbers who earn more than $250,000 in a start-up business.

"Joe The Plumber" does not even have a plumber's license. Check the facts. He is likely some sort of plant by the Republican Party.

if everyone has a house to live in then they have plumbing needs Joe can take care of. No homes- no plumber necessary

Perhaps Joe doesn't realize that the $250,000 pertains to his personal income and not the total revenue of the business.

Mainly because he will not be making over $200,000 for a few years, if any time at all. Starting out he could benefit from tax credits.

No one with a job would fare better under an Obama presidency. If he was "Joe the Welfare Mooch", it'd be a different story.

Since 'Joe' hasn't even got a plumbing license; his chances aren't good that he'll ever make 250m a year: he'll do better with Obama.

The chance of him making a net profit in excess of $250,000 is almost non existent.

Main question; $250,000 of net income or gross regards the tax increase? If its net, this would not prevent someone to purchase a business.
